The cast of Heroes

So, who do we have in our group of adventurers? There are five would-be champions leading our story, and they make for quite an assorted group. Hopefully that wide range of race and abilities will prove to be a powerful asset to them. Lets hope they learn to complement each others strengths quickly because I intend to thrust them in at the deep end.

Ladies and Gentlement, I give you our adventurers! Firstly we have......

...weighing in at a whopping 28 lbs, standing a towering two feet tall, I give you Avalon Stone! Avalon is a nomadic Halfling hailing from the sand-filled country of Talenta. Raised by Mallowco Stone, chief of the Red Claw Clan, Avalon is a natural wanderer and out door type of person.

Rarely seen without D-ablow, his trusty Clawfoot dinosaur, Avalon recently misplaced himself whilst tracking an animal into a cave. He now finds himself in a completely different part of the country and is eager to explore and find out why.

Clawing his way up to the podium next is the one known as Dua. Dua is a Ternmolik Kobold. A sorceror worthy of note, Dua specialises in the summoning of creatures from beyond. Why? Perhaps you will find out if you earn his trust and live long enough.

Hailing from the Goblin nation of Darguun, Dua recently left his homeland and has set out in search of something, although he seems a little vague as to where he is heading or what he hopes to find there.

Third up, a beast of a man, a shifter prowls up. With a snarl and a guttural growl, Hawk Sagebrand take the stage. Strong and agile, Hawk definitely values physical prowess over intellectual achievement.

With a tendancy to pace up and down, or more accurately, stalk up and down; Hawk makes it clear that his past has given him a few things to be grievous about.

Giving the podium a cursory glance before taking it, the human Janin takes a moment to nudge aside with his foot, a few stray hairs and other debris that the previous occupant left there. Janin strikes a thoughtful but manly pose in his resplendent armour, checking that the Silver Flame that is his holy symbol can be seen by all.

Hailing from Thrane, the spiritual home of the Silver Flame religion, Janin is a typical country boy that has fast risen through the ranks of his temple. Recently given the right to administer himself as he sees fit, Janin is eager to prove to his superiors that the trust they have put in him is well deserved.

Last and certainly by no means least, we have Vaelas, a Valenar Elf, fresh from the dusty tundra of the Talenta desert. Clothed in the traditional desert garb of his race, his face partially covered gives away little.

Packing a Valenar double-scimitar, and looking like he knows how to use it, this is one focused elf. Closer inspection reveals a glint to the eye that says 'I know more than you imagine, and if you don't watch your step, you'll get to find out just how much'.
